The toga party was not an event I attended. But everyone in my classes continues to talk about even now.

I have a test on Monday, and a job interview on Wednesday. Also have a program I need to finish for Thursday. It looks like things are picking up around here.

There was a toga party?

Huh.

-A program, you say?

What's the purpose of it? What language? Going for functionality on more than one OS?

Yes, a toga party.

Our assignment for class was to write a program that allows you to enter data and then store it in the memory, and allow you to recall it when keyword searching for it.

Ah, basic store/recall programs. Fun stuff. What language, out of curiosity?

The name's Hal Emmerich. It's nice to meet you.

Never bothered learning that - had to do things myself back home, so I never really got a "proper" programming introduction. Just kind of picked things up myself as I went, you know?

Nice to meet you then, Leon. If you ever need a beta for anything, let me know - I can check for some pretty weird problems. You kind of pick them up as you go.

I take it you aren't a computer science major?

Well, uh, actually, yeah - I'm a dual major, electrical engineering and computer science.

I'm also just a freshman. That probably has something to do with it. I'm just going with Python this year, along with the other classes having to do mainly with robotics.

...Sorry, I've just always done things... the weird way. Not straight-forward, you know?

Oh, okay.

Well, uh, it was nice to meet you, Leon. Maybe I'll see you around sometime.

Oh - before I forget, I'm running a small computer upgrade and repair business. If anything ever happens to your computer, or you want it to run faster, just bring it to me. Dorm is Petunia 114.
